Fees

Eckersley Medical Centre is a doctor-owned private billing practice.

  • Children 15 and under and DVA card holders are bulk billed
  • Discount fees are offered to patients holding a Pension Concession Card or Health Care Card (Discount fees for Commonwealth Seniors Health Card holders are at the individual doctor’s discretion.)

Failure to attend an appointment:  If you are unable to attend your appointment, please notify our team a minimum of two hours prior to your scheduled consultation. Failure to attend without notification will result in a fee being charged. This fee is non-refundable from Medicare.

Current fees are noted in the table below.

No cash accepted.

A small surcharge currently applies to card payments – these fees are associated with the TYRO machines and do not provide any profit to the practice. This card processing surcharge will be removed from 01 September 2026 to provide greater pricing transparency for patients.

To help us continue providing the high standard of care you expect, a modest increase to our consultation fees will take effect from 01 September 2026. We have made every effort to keep this adjustment as small as possible while ensuring the ongoing sustainability of our independent practice.

We sincerely thank you  for your understanding and continued support.
