Eckersley Medical Centre is excited to welcome Dr Shane Atkinson from January 2026. Dr Shane is welcoming new patients and is available for appointments 5 days a week.
Dr Atkinson is a caring and engaged GP registrar. He graduated from James Cook University in 2016 and completed broad hospital training across a range of medical specialties before commencing his general practice training. Shane enjoys all aspects of general practice, with particular interests in men’s health, chronic disease management, and preventative care. Outside of work, he enjoys staying active and spending time outdoors.
